The goal of this sixteen hour, 2.5 day retreat is to offer our storytellers creative self-care, spiritual nourishment and peace + quiet to radically dive into the spookiest parts of their past. We’ll begin each day with a seated breakfast and tiny story-hour, followed by creative visualizations, brief technical lessons + lots of free time to curl up in a cozy spot and write your ass off for hours at a stretch. The goal is to power down, put pen to paper and rigorously mine your imagination in a safe + sacred space. Through generative exercises, group sharing, deep discussions and healthy meals, you’ll begin to abandon inhibition, explore memories, embrace your style and become comfortable with creative discomfort. There will also be time to snack, lounge, hang, wander the neighborhood, read, connect with new + old friends and explore Brooklyn away from the rigamarole of everyday life and have a one-on-one creative ideation session with storytelling spirit guide Molly Rosen Guy. Prepare to go deep. Breakfast and lunch included both days, lodging not included.

By the end you should have over twenty thousand words of original material (minimum) without ever having to leave your couch.
