How To Structure Your Memoir

This eight week Zoom workshop is for memoirists working on a manuscript who need help organizing their pages into a compulsively readable and robust book! Taught by Story Surgeon Emily Stone (Hunter College, Saint Ann’s), this eight-week course will examine plot paradigms, focusing mainly on ABC structure to create a propulsive book. You will identify your central A story, order your underlying B, C, and D stories, learn the magic of Scene + Sequel and nail your Midpoint at the center of it all. This workshop is for serious storytellers craving deadlines, technical direction, rigorous mentorship, and a like-minded creative community.
