This twice-weekly Zoom workshop is for memoirists working on a manuscript who are desperate to organize their working pages into a compulsively readable published book! Taught in collaboration with Content Alchemist Emily Stone (Hunter College, Saint Ann’s), this methodic eight-week course will examine various plot forms, focusing on ABC structure to create a propulsive plot from beginning to end. You will identify your central A story, order your B and C story, learn the magic of Scene + Sequel and nail your Midpoint at the center of it all. This workshop is for serious storytellers craving deadlines, structure, technical direction, rigorous mentorship and a like-minded creative community. You'll also be assigned an Action + Accountability Partner to work with on a weekly basis. This workshop includes: 8 classes, 8 lessons, 2 workshops, one outlining session with Emily Stone, one creative ideation session with Molly Rosen, and an intuitive organizational session with our Teaching Assistant Katie O’Donnell.
