The Story Summit: A Weekend of Writing in Woodstock

Join Molly Rosen Guy for a long weekend of storytelling, creativity, and connection in the Hudson Valley. Over three days, we’ll gather around firepits and farm tables to write, read, and connect — fueled by good food, fresh air, and deep narrative energy. Each morning begins with a seated breakfast, a Tiny Story Hour, and a brief craft talk to spark the day. After lunch, you’ll have wide-open time to curl up in a quiet nook and write for hours, pausing only for a one-on-one creative ideation session with Molly. Late afternoons are reserved for group workshops around a long table, where we’ll give and receive feedback in a space that’s safe, rigorous, and alive.

The goal: to power down, put pen to paper, and mine your imagination until you hit gold. Through generative prompts, deep discussion, and shared meals, you’ll abandon inhibition, explore memory, embrace your voice, and grow comfortable with creative discomfort. Featuring good snacks, stories, and stars. In between, there’s time to hike, wander Woodstock, and connect with new and old friends far from the rigamarole of everyday life.

For anyone craving creative ignition, psychic renewal, and the sacred hum that happens when you tell the truth on the page.
