Tiny Story Hour Group Slam - Wednesday Nights (Nov 20th-Dec 11th)
Tiny Story Hour Group Slam - Wednesday Nights (Nov 20th-Dec 11th)
Join Molly Rosen Guy for BWC's first ever full-on Tiny Story Hour slam-style storytelling workshop. This vibrant, raucous new class format will demand your complete attention from the second you log into the classroom — no syllabi, readings, or outside assignments allowed. Your imagination is the curriculum! Each class will begin with a mini meditation and a tiny story told by MRG, followed by a five minute free write. Afterwards, each student will take the virtual stage, read their piece and engage in a rapid-fire Q+A with Molly, in real time, as she transcribes. Your story will begin to expand in real time, and you’ll leave each class with a new piece to work on in the week ahead. This improv group-format storytelling class is all about trusting your gut, actively listening and allowing your imagination to guide you where it needs to go. By the end of four weeks you will have the beginnings of several stories you didn't even know were dying to tell. Bring your coffee or wine, you’re going to need it.
Class is capped at twenty people. First come, first serve. If the cost of this course exceeds your financial capacity, please email info@brooklynwriterscollective.com and we will try our best to accommodate — if not this session, then a future one.
